Our #MichaelBenjamin, better known by his stage name #Mikaben is gone. Died on Saturday October 15, 2022 at the age of 41, after collapsing on stage in Paris while performing with the Haitian konpa group CaRiMi,
He has contributed a lot to our Bon tretman campaign for the children of Haiti.
Michael Benjamin dit Mikaben, is a Haitian singer, composer, guitarist and producer, born on June 27, 1981 in Port-au-Prince.
He is the son of singer Lionel Benjamin and grew up under the influence of music.
His career began towards the end of the 1990s, when he won first prize in a Christmas singing competition organized by Telemax. He became the singer of the Compas band Krezi Mizik in 2005.
He died in Paris on October 15, 2022 during the reunion concert of Carimi Compas band victim of a heart attack on stage. He dies despite the cardiac massage performed by the emergency services.
He was one of the actors in our campaign for the good treatment of children, FH HAITI will always be grateful to him and in the name of all the children of Haiti, we wish condolences to his wife, his children and his parents mourned by this painful event.
